Sour Patch Watermelon was Wrigley's first attempt at catering to the African-American consumer population. Data collected by Wrigley surveyors stated that individuals of the African-American persuasion took a liking to watermelons and watermelon related items, especially in flavor. Thus, the Watermelon Sour Patch was born.
These are fairly common, so you can most likely find these at any Local Store. (Walgreens, Walmart, CVS Pharmacy, Tha Corna Sto, etc.)
- It could be possible that "Sour Watermelon" were the orignal Sour Patch Watermelon, since they were made by the same company back in 1993. Although, it is unknown, since it's not under the Sour Patch name.
